This weekend, from May the 26th to May the 28th, the Barcelona Design Museum will host the 16th edition of the OFFF festival.
OFFF is a huge international event in the creative sector that showcases new trends in graphic design, video, photography, advertising, cinema and editorial art.
This year the event features workshops, conferences and talks from some of the biggest names in the field.
For example, talents such as Aardman Animations (the studio behind Wallace and Gromit), designer Carl Sprague (an illustrator who works in cinema and designed the illustration concepts for films such as ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ and ’12 Years a Slave’), Daniel Aristizábal (a designer who mixes elements of cubism, dadaism and futurism in his work) and Somerset + Mills (a highly innovative production studio working in the fields of music, video, cinema and fashion) will be present at OFFF.
Tickets for OFFF 2016 sell out quickly, so this year the organisers are including a free Fun Zone where you can go and see what’s going on in the festival on large screen. There will also be food trucks so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.
