Between the 6th and 7th of May the gastronomy of Girona can be sampled in the Sagrada Familia Market in Barcelona. Tastings and produce from the region will be offered as well as information on touristic, cultural and sporting activities available in the region that includes the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava.
Nineteen local tourist entities, including tourist offices, regional councils and associations of tourist accommodation are participating in the initiative which aims to inform the public of the scenic landscapes, culture, tourism and holidays available in the region.
The show is called km0 Costa Brava y Pirineo de Girona and allows people to experience the gastronomic and tourist attractions of the area before setting off, or serves as a starting point for a future trip.
The exhibition will also certainly be attractive for children, workshops of flowers, purse making, medieval calligraphy and anchovy preservation will be on offer.
The exhibition will travel to Mercat de La Concepció on the 12th, 13th and 14th of May and will also be present in the Mercat Torreblanca in Sant Cugat on the 27th and 28th of this month.
