Barcelona is a city much in love with Yoga, with a host of small independent studios right across the city, where teachers from Catalunya, Spain, and all over the world impair their knowledge.
This July Barcelona will hold the sixth Barcelona Yoga Conference in the Sarriá neighbourhood, a quiet residential district high above the city towards the mountains and the Collserola Park.
With over 800 participants, the event attracts people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience—even complete beginners those who have never set foot on a yoga mat before.
Taking place from the 16th to the 24th of July, at the conference you can experience 20 different yoga styles as taught by 60 international teachers, allowing yogis to try out new and unfamiliar techniques.
As well as Yoga practice the schedule includes music intervals and an array of activities also related to health and wellbeing, such as Thai massage, therapeutic workshops, guided meditations and Dutch acrobatics.
The ‘Stand Village’ is a Yoga and wellbeing related market with over 45 stalls selling products such as essential oils, healthy food and ethical clothing.
Tickets for the Barcelona Yoga Conference are available now and prices start at €115. Three percent of the price is donated to charity.
