Hotels Arts’ chef Paco Pérez offers a tasting menu paired with a selection of fine international wines at the Enoteca restaurant.

Barcelona skyline views with a glass of champagne in hand accompanying a morel cream with foie gras ice cream powder? Enoteca, one of the restaurants at the Hotel Arts, hosts a dinner open to the public on Tuesday 10 May at 21.00 to bring together the concepts of haute cuisine and solidarity.

Haute cuisine from the hand of an expert cook with three Michelin stars under his belt (two in Miramar and one at Enoteca Llançà) is a unique experience but not cheap. But since dinner is for the Unicef charity the price of 140 euro takes on a new meaning.

Perez has designed a comprehensive tasting menu as where you eat a Dim Sun, lobster jus and mini vegetables as an entrée and then a morel cream with foie gras ice cream powder, followed by a spring dab followed by pork with melon and citrus.

The menu will be served on the 41st floor of the hotel, where the restaurant’s dining room offers the best views of the city, the beach and of the Mediterranean Sea.

The wines for these dishes are a selection of the best international wines, thanks to the collaboration of Peralada Castle. New Zealand’s Cape Crest 2007, the Australian St Henry 2006 or the Gallo Chablisienne Grand Cru Grenouille 2004. Wines of great reputation with a cuisine of great quality that builds on the freshness of the sea, an unmissable dining experience that should not be missed.

The event is part of an agreement between the hotel in Barcelona and UNICEF, an organization dedicated to child protection. It is closely linked with the city of Barcelona, FC Barcelona sponsor the charity and carry its name on their shirts.
