This lovely two bedroom apartment is located in a quiet pedestrian street of the Eixample district, very close to Gaudí‘s most famous work: the Sagrada Familia temple. If the Sagrada Familia is on your itinerary then you could not be closer, and you can even beat the morning queues! Other highlights of this neighbourhood include Avinguda Gaudi, a long rambla which like the famous Las Ramblas in the city centre features many bars and cafes in a long pedestrianised central strip where you can sit out in the sun
and enjoy a cold drink, a meal or just some tapas. It leads to another art nouveau masterpiece, the Hospital Sant Pau. Sagrada Familia is a very residential area with plenty of shops and markets. On Calle Padilla between Calles Mallorca and Provença is the excellent Sagrada Familia food market where you will find amazing fresh products, meat and seafood, and all host of delicious Catalan specialities. This neighbourhood has great public transport connections with all the interesting tourist points of the city. It is less than 100 meters away from two metro stations and many bus lines, so you can get the Old Town in 10 minutes and the beaches in less than 15 minutes metro trip.
